In case you haven’t heard, Queer Eye Season 5 is now available on Netflix and rest assured we have binge-watched the entire show from top to bottom! But we haven’t stopped there, we’ve taken a sneak-peek into host Tan France’s handsomely designed home in Salt Lake City.
Tan and his husband purchased the home over Facetime and turned this 20th Century fixer-upper into a mid-century modern home.
An open plan kitchen and dining room with grey and brass tones designed with a casual singing and dining space in mind, for cooking as a family or entertaining guests.
On your way upstairs you’re met with a fresh open space with a custom made chandelier from India.
The master bedroom is simple and spacious with a cosy little nook that Tan transformed from old linen closet. The bathrooms feature a double shower subway style tile and brass fittings throughout.
One of the most eye-catching rooms has got to be the closet loft! Just look at it!
the closet runs the whole length of the house, so plenty of space for shoes! As you would expect from the fashion guru, Tan’s clothes are very well organised!
The closet is designed with dark wood, wallpaper and a mirrored wall to give the impression of a larger room. As with most converted lofts, height space can be somewhat tricky and it appears so here but who wouldn’t say no to that closet space?!
